Word from our Pastor

November 2021

Dearly Beloved in Christ!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude-1:24).

The God of immutability, who had never and will never change has enabled us to enter into the new Conference Year with His ever new grace. I praise God for the ministry of proclaiming the Word that we as a Church have received from HIM in the past year. As a witnessing community of God and having His perspective, we are further called to move forward from one stage to another (from Milk to Meat) of GROWTH in our spiritual life. The global Scenario in terms of natural calamities, plagues, Nations rising against Nations, people becoming self-oriented etc., indicates that the ‘Day of HIS coming’ is very near. “Be careful therefore how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil (Eph-5:15-16) Be watchful!(Mk-13:32-37). In such a context, the Triune God is inviting us to daringly venture to live the life that God has planned for us.

Before we begin moving forward towards GROWTH, we need to discover something as to where we stand in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The right relationship with Christ strengthens our confidence in Him to accept His best plan in our life. Since God has His best plan for us, I want to exhort and encourage you to trust in Him and believe that His plan is always good. Be in touch with God, as listening to Him becomes mandatory for receiving the good plan of God (Prov-3:5-6). God’s leadership in our life removes all the hindrances of our spiritual blessings. His plan is good because he sees everything that you are going through. He knows everything about you and your needs (Isa-65:24). He gave Himself for you and is continuously interceding for you (Rom-8:26).

His plan is good because He always helps us at His appropriate time. Sometimes the response is delayed, why? Often, we don’t understand God’s delays but God always Has a good reason for it. The Bible is full of examples of the mighty and awesome work of God for His people even in times of delay. In times of delay, God is perfectly building His character in us, causing us to mature in Him and to become more like Him. His plan is good because it’s always for our Growth and the Word of God never fails.

So, I want to assure you that the best plan of God is placed before us. Be confident in Him and march under the banner of His promised Word. Keep Christ at the centre of your life so that He would help you to learn not to look at the obstacles as a dead end but as an opportunity for the Lord to work His best in your life. Inculcate Christ’s nature in you, so that we, as a Church may grow and mature in Him. So give yourself to Christ and He will be with you and lead you with His never changing Promises, Presence and never changing Personality. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. C. James Raj
