God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

The month of May had particularly been a tough one for us as a family. My son in law was tested positive for covid, shortly followed by his wife, his first son, and me. After a week, my son was affected followed by his wife and lastly my husband. As an entire family, we were all mildly affected with covid from the start of May. Our God never leaves us nor forsake us. He will not give us more than what we can handle. This has been so true in our case. Covid is a viral infection in which it saps a good amount of your energy. All you feel like doing is resting all the time. Tiredness and fatigue rules you. To top it, one also loose their appetite (because of no taste and smell). Despite all this, Jehovah Jireh, our provider, provided food for us at the right time. The Church was really kind enough to provide us with food at the right time. We praise God for the lovely souls that provided us with our needs at the right time. Not just our needs but also supported our family with your prayers! We as a family, witnessed God’s provision through you all. Just as Elijah was fed by the Ravens, we were also fed.

While this period, we felt God’s protection like never before. Despite many news that brings us fear and gloominess, He still filled our hearts with peace and energy to surpass the days. He had his angels in charge of protection over us. He was with us through the fire, He was with us in the den, He was with us in our ark. His presence was with us all the time! What a wonderful God we serve!

Along with God’s provision and protection, He guided us at the right time with medical support. We didn’t know how to go about with the tests, yet, He sent the right person with the right lead to get us tested. He sent the right doctor to guide us throughout. The doctors were also patient enough to answer our doubts and clear our fears. We saw the Hand of God alligning the right person at the right time. Today, our Jehovah Rapha, The one who heals, has healed us completely. We are grateful to Him as a family for being with us through our darkest. He was with us throughout and is still with us! May All Glory, Honor and Praise be unto Him alone!

We thank Dr. Jayarajah for guiding us throughout. He was the one who prescribed us with the right medicines. He was always available to answer our queries. Dr. Senthilnathan and Dr. Uthra for their guidance. They knew my husband’s case history and their guidance too is much appreciated. Dr. Malathi Sathyasekaran, She had guided our grandson with his medication. Not even a day did we see him weak or tired. He was being himself throughout. Dr. Madhivanan was always there to patiently answer our doubts. We Thank God from the bottom of our hearts for sending us you all as a blessing from above. You all are nothing short of a blessing.

Finally, I thank the pastors, church members, friends and our family members! You’re all such wonderful souls who had kept us going with all your prayers and care. You are all nothing short of a blessing to us. May God richly bless you all! We thank our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by whose stripes we are healed! Such a truly loving father we have got! We as a family, testify to His goodness! May His name be praised!

I keep asking The Lord, “Why this pain? There are other families that have experienced far more pain than us.” The only answer I get is that He knows, He cares and He is able to save to the uttermost. Continue to pray for us so that we as a family may be spiritually and physically renewed day by day.
