God used adversity to establish the church.

The gospel from being transmitted through the Jews to the Jews became through the Jews to the Gentiles.

The Church at Antioch led by laity with specific Burden crossed the ethnic barrier – cross cultural Mission was natural to the mind of Christ but unusual to the common accepted practice.

God uses the Leadership which reflected the goodness of God, full of faith and filled with the Holy Spirit demonstrated by fruit of the Holy Spirit. A leadership with the ability to Discern the grace of God on people, that encourages and celebrates the work of God in the people.

The church focused on the Lord and on others through generosity not on itself.
